Super Bowl 2026: Bad Bunny Brings Out Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin as Surprise Guests at Halftime

Bad Bunny wore his familia close to his chest.

During his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance on Feb. 8, the Puerto Rican superstar made waves as he performed some of his biggest hits and paid homage to his native island in a custom set by Zara bearing his last name and the number 64 across the chest and on the back.

The “DTMF” singer revealed The Cut that the number paid tribute to his late uncle Cutito, who was born in 1964. In fact, he taught the rapper, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, “much of what he knows about the NFL.”

“I always dreamed of taking my uncle to a Super Bowl, and I couldn’t,” he told to the publication on Feb. 9 of his uncle, who left Puerto Rico to work on the United States mainland when he was 17. “He left unexpectedly, without warning.”

“So during my Super Bowl halftime show, I decided to have him on my shirt,” he added. “I dedicated my performance to him before it began. I’m sure he saw it, he was present, and he felt proud of his nephew.”

Bad Bunny’s full look was an all-cream design by Zara which featured a pair of chinos and matching structured jacket with football shoulder pads and matching sneakers. Later in his performance, the “Callaíta” rapper opted for a double-breasted blazer in the same color scheme.

For the 13-minute performance inside of Levi’s Stadium, Bad Bunny not only performed his songs "Monaco," "Baile Inolvidable," "Nuevayol," and more, but he honored the island as he walked through sets that included sugar canes, village homes, as well as older men playing dominoes, people enjoying piragua treats and a nod to New York’s last Puerto Rican social club.

Inside La Casita, Bad Bunny was joined by a host of famous faces including Cardi B, Alix Earle, Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal and Karol G as he launched into "Yo Perreo Sola.”

What’s more, Bad Bunny was joined by Lady Gaga, who shocked the crowd as she sang a salsa rendition of her and Bruno Mars’ hit “Die With A Smile” as a couple got married while onstage. Ricky Martin also surprised the audience when he appeared for "LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii.”

Before taking the stage, Bad Bunny shared what fans could expect without divulging too many secrets.

"I don't want to give any spoilers," the Grammy winner at the press conference Feb. 5. "It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be easy and people only have to worry about dancing."

"They don't even have to learn Spanish," he emphasized. "It's better if they learn to dance. There's no better dance than the one that comes from the heart."
