Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. make up top-3 of impressive MLB history leaderboard

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is certainly one of the best hitters in this era of baseball.

If you just watched the Toronto Blue Jays' slugger play in the postseason, you'd think him to be one of the absolute best hitters to ever play the sport.

He's keeping legendary company as a playoff hitter. Guerrero Jr. has the third-best OPS among any hitter in postseason history, minimum 90 plate appearances, according to Codify.

The two names above Vladdy on the list: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

Man, what were the odds that Gehrig and Ruth would end up with the exact same OPS in their careers? Remarkable.

Also remarkable is that they're 105 points ahead of Vladdy.

It's still an impressive output for Guerrero, ahead of many other of the game's all-time best hitters.

The Blue Jays gave him a $500 million contract before the season, and it already seems worth it. Vladdy has eight home runs in this postseason, tied for second all-time in a single playoff run.

Toronto is at home Friday night to try to close out the World Series in Game 6, and they'll get another chance Saturday in Game 7 if they don't finish. If Guerrero stays this hot, they'll have a great chance of getting it done.
