Azzi Fudd Refuses to Expose Paige Bueckers in Public Callout Over 'Lay Her' Jibe

UConn star Azzi Fudd refused to expose former teammate Paige Bueckers in a public callout over the "lay her" jibe. Fudd was on the "Fudd Around and Find Out" podcast when co-host Ashanti Plummer enquired about Bueckers' recent visit to UConn.

Plummer shared that she saw on Bueckers' page on Instagram that she played and came out on top against Fudd during the UConn visit. Fudd responded directly to Bueckers.

"She went out of her way to tag me as Lay her. I have something for her. Paige, if you're listening to this, come back to practice, please. Anyways, yeah, we're not gonna, we're not gonna expose her though. We're gonna be classy about it. We're gonna be classy. That's how we are at UConn, classy."

Azzi Fud referred to the "layher" tag on Buecker's Instagram post on Sunday. Bueckers took part in the UConn championship ring ceremony and joined her former teammates in practice. She posted a series of photos from her visit and tagged an action shot going against Fudd for a layup.

Paige Buckers added a poll, where she asked fans to choose between "spare them" and "expose them."

Azzi Fudd has called Bueckers the biggest trash-talker in the game. She also called for a rematch, and fans will anticipate one.
