Team India all-rounder Axar Patel came up with impressive performances with both bat and ball as the Men in Blue beat Australia by 48 runs in the fourth T20I at the Carrara Oval in Queensland on Thursday, November 6. Thanks to his heroics, the visitors took a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series.
Australia won the toss and elected to field first in the game. India made a confident start, but the Aussies made a strong comeback to reduce the visitors to 136-6. A quick cameo from Axar (21* off 11) lifted India to 167-8. With his left-arm spin, he claimed the big wickets of Matthew Short and Josh Inglis to finish with 2-20.
