Atlético Madrid is taking one of the biggest matches on its calendar and turning it into a full-blown Miami moment.
The Spanish club announced it will bring its Madrid derby watch party to Wynwood Walls as part of a new international fan push called Red & White On Tour, anchored by a two-day Casa Atleti takeover. According to a press release, the activation is designed to give fans outside Spain a way to experience the club year-round, with a platform that "operates independently of the competition calendar."
Casa Atleti runs Saturday and Sunday in Wynwood, centered around Sunday's derby at the Bernabéu, where Atlético visits rival Real Madrid at 3 p.m. ET. The live watch party is tied into ESPN's U.S. broadcast.
Beyond the match, the weekend includes a club memorabilia museum, an official retail store, and exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with Atlético legends for Red & White members. "The first 100 Red&White members to visit Casa Atleti will receive a postcard signed by a first-team player," the event website states.
Saturday kicks off with a panel on building global sports communities ahead of this summer’s World Cup, followed by a live painting session with artist Lili Cantero, an exclusive legends meet-and-greet, and a late-night party hosted by Perro Negro, the Medellín-born reggaeton brand with outposts in Madrid and Miami.
Sunday leans fully into matchday energy, with a live mural featuring a surprise guest, a 1v1 cage tournament with Art Basel FC, and the derby watch party. Priority access is reserved for Red & White members.
The activation arrives during one of the most significant stretches in the club’s recent history. Apollo Sports Capital recently completed its majority acquisition of Atlético, with former striker David Villa joining the board as part of the transition.

On the pitch, the club beat Tottenham 5-2 in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg on March 10, going three goals up in the opening minutes.
The Miami stop follows a previous Casa Atleti pop-up in Los Angeles last summer, where the club partnered with Venice Beach FC and Saturday’s Football. This time, there’s no tournament attached — which is the point. Red & White On Tour is built to travel without the schedule.
With Miami set to host multiple World Cup matches in 2026, Atlético is planting its flag early in one of the fastest-growing soccer markets in the U.S.
