Midway through last season, the Atlanta Hawks traded away Trae Young, which has them moving in a new direction into this offseason.
That brings proceedings to the 2026 NBA Draft, which begins Tuesday night and is the next chance for the Hawks to get better.
Atlanta also will benefit from the Derik Queen trade a year ago, when the Pelicans moved up to take Queen but gave the Hawks their 2026 first-round pick.
The Hawks have been involved in trade rumors, too, so it's not a given that they'll keep their initial pick positioning throughout the action.
