The Stella McCartney runway show was a family affair.
A talented designer, McCartney herself is a proud nepo baby, born to music and art icons Linda and Paul McCartney — and she honored the generational talent both on and off the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week Wednesday.
The A-list crowd was full of parents and children; MGK took his 16-year-old daughter Casie Baker, with the “Emo Girl” singer keeping it casual with a white tank that read “Hardcore,” baggy jeans and a distressed jacket over his shoulders. Casie, meanwhile, looked effortlessly chic in a gray knit minidress, metallic heels ($1,090) and dark sunglasses.
Helen Hunt was also seated with her 21-year-old daughter, Makena Lei Carnahan, both of whom chose tailored suiting separates and coordinating bright red accessories.
And, of course, chosen family came out to support as well, with besties Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King as well as next-door-neighbors and friends Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann sitting side-by-side.
Winfrey leaned into her new uniform of wide-leg pants and a double-breasted blazer with a button-down shirt underneath. Her whole look was designed in tones of tan and peach.
King also stuck to the silhouette she loves with a knit pencil skirt and asymmetric top to match.
Wintour opted for color in a bright burgundy dress that she topped with a houndstooth plaid coat. On her feet were snakeskin booties and she stacked colorful riviere necklaces.
Proud parents Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were also sitting front row, of course.
On the runway, one look summed it up, sporting a tank that read: “My dad is a rockstar.”
