Assassin's Creed Shadows walkthrough: How to complete Lost and Found quest (Animus Rift)

Lost and Found is the new Animus Rift quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows, added after Title Update 1.1.7. The Eagle guides you inside the rift, and you are required to make your way to the end to uncover secrets. Also, there's a great boss fight at the end as well. Completing the mission grants you prominent weapons for Naoe and Yasuke.

Here are the details on how to complete the Lost and Found quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

After installing the Title Update 1.1.7, hop into AC Shadows, and you will be able to see the new Animus Rift quest, Lost and Found, on the objective board. However, you need to complete the previous Animus Rift quests for this one to appear.

To start the quest, head to the Little Leaf Glade area in the Yamashiro region.

Then, navigate to the northwest of the Deserted Outpost fast travel point to find the newly opened rift's entrance. Interact with the glitch and choose the option "Leap" to start the Lost and Found quest.

Navigate towards the portal

When the quest starts, proceed forward to the edge of the broken bridge and jump down to perform a Leap of Faith. Continue through the pathway to find a person. Press and hold the "Cleanse" option to turn into Naoe.

Next, squeeze through the gap in the wall, move forward, and reach the rooftop nearby.

From the rooftop, use the connecting ropes to reach the next roof, where you can find tree branches to proceed efficiently.

Then, proceed forward using the branches and jump down to the next area. You can also refill the supplies for both Yasuke and Naoe there.

Afterwards, keep Naoe's form and squeeze through the gap and take out the enemies there from behind. There's also a cube there, which you can interact with and take Yasuke's form to defeat the enemies.

Next, go upstairs, and you will find a blocked door. Detonate the explosive nearby by using Naoe's throwables or Yasuke's ranged weapons. Proceed forward and again, choose "Cleanse" by interacting with Oda Nobunaga.

Fall to the ground in front of you and defeat the enemies using Yasuke. Next, take Naoe's form and go through the gap in the wall in that area.

On the other side, proceed forward to the edge, and use Naoe's grappling hook to travel to another location with the help of the Eagle.

Following that, move forward, take Yasuke's form, and head downstairs. Kill all the enemies there and go to the other side to find another staircase going to the upper platform.

Go upstairs and interact with Oda Nobunaga to "Cleanse." From there, proceed right to find a ladder.

Climb up to find another cube to change form. Turn into Yasuke and sprint at the blocked door nearby to break it open.

Next, go left, climb the small wooden ladder to reach the upper platform when the patrolling enemy moves in the other direction. However, don't approach the enemies in front head-on.

Instead, use Naoe or Yasuke's ranged attacks to detonate the explosive to kill the foes from a distance.

When all of them are dead, proceed forward and interact with Junjiro to "Cleanse." Next, take Yasuke's form and kill the rest of the enemies in there. Then, break the wooden door by sprinting at it using Yasuke. You can also use the explosive to break the door.

Afterwards, climb the ladder in there to reach another area, where you must defeat the foes using Yasuke.

When done, proceed forward to the edge and use Naoe's grappling hook to take help from the Eagle to move to another location.

Sentinel B-Ser.0197 boss fight guide

After reaching near the portal, you will be encountered by an enemy called "Sentinel B-Ser.0197." This boss fight is quite intriguing, with the opponent boasting a set of brilliant new attacks. Firstly, avoid its ranged ground attack by quickly dodging to the side.

Also, he can teleport to a different location and perform a ranged attack using his gun. On top of that, multiple mirror images of him execute the attack at the same time. You can also side-step that attack.

After a bit during the battle, the boss will perform a ground attack that you can be wary of by seeing the red glow from the ground. Move away from him and then dodge the subsequent ground attacks by avoiding the red glows on the ground.

While dodging the boss's attacks, strike at the perfect time and use Yasuke's abilities to deal damage. If you get hit multiple times, you will lose his form. However, a cube will be available there that you can use to become Yasuke again.

When the boss's health bar reaches around 10%, he will flee the area. Chase him, and after a point, you will automatically turn into Naoe. Dodge the enemy attacks, parkour forward, and climb the platform on the right.

Move forward, use the grappling hook to reach the next platform, cross the gaps, and go to the left side's platform using the rope.

Lastly, assassinate Sentinel B-Ser.0197 from above and proceed forward to complete the Lost and Found Animus Rift quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows. You will get the following items as rewards:

• Dark Strand (Legendary Bo)
• Dark Encryption (Legendary Kanabo)
• Hurtful Criticals (Engraving)
• Painful Power (Engraving)
