The Las Vegas Raiders have a major question mark on offense ahead of the Week 1 game against the Miami Dolphins due to an injury to running back Ashton Jeanty.
Jeanty suffered an ankle injury during practice last month and the worst was initially feared after he had to be helped off the field.
Thankfully, the Raiders running back only suffered a sprain and avoided a significant injury.
However, because he hadn't practiced in a while, there was a fear he would miss the Week 1 contest on Sunday.
Here's what we know after head coach Klint Kubiak spoke to reporters on Wednesday afternoon.
Ashton Jeanty injury update
According to ESPN's Ryan McFadden, Kubiak told reporters that Jeanty will practice on Wednesday.
"Raiders HC Klint Kubiak said RB Ashton Jeanty will practice today," McFadden reported.
While Kubiak wouldn't confirm if Jeanty would be limited or full, he did say he is "expecting to have all of our guys ready for Sunday."
That's about the best thing we could have heard when it comes to Jeanty's status.
It's pretty clear at this point that the former No. 6 overall pick is going to play on Sunday.
That said, we'll still be keeping an eye out for the injury report because, as we all know, things can change quickly in the NFL.
