Sure, much of the hype in 2025 revolves around generational prospect Cooper Flagg. But beyond the players, teams and broadcasters, the draft lottery dais contains a mix of current players, league executives, owners and family members, all hoping to play the role of good luck charm.

The NBA confirmed its list of lottery on-stage representatives on Monday and its a once again an illustrious group.

The 2025 NBA Draft Lottery presented by State Farm will be held tonight in Chicago and air live at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN.

But even against the likes of Olajuwon, there's one person who could steal the show if the ping pong balls bounce the right way.

That's Ashley Smith, co-owner of the Jazz and the only woman representative on hand for this year's lottery. Smith is crossing her fingers that Utah's 14 percent lottery odds for the top pick will come through for the rights to draft Flagg.

Smith and her husband Ryan Smith are worth an estimated $2.6 billion.

They mace their fortune largely through the sale of Qualtrics, a company Ryan founded alongside his father and brother. A business analytics platform, Qualtrics was purchased by SAP for $8 billion in 2019.

Smith is officially a co-owner alongside her husband. The couple also own the NHL's Utah Hockey Club which just recently announced a name change to the Mammoth for next season.
