Arsenal injury list: Players out, potential return dates, predicted lineup for next game vs. Leeds United

Arsenal resume Premier League duties against Leeds United this weekend after completing a perfect Champions League league phase this week.

A pressure-free return to European action was welcome for the Gunners after their sapping 3-2 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League.

They start this weekend with a four-point lead at the top over Aston Villa and Manchester City, but after three league games without a win, they will be eager to ensure that gap does not diminish further.

Below is the latest injury picture for Arsenal, and estimated return dates for those who are sidelined.

William Saliba

• Injury: Knock
• Expected return date: January 31 (vs. Leeds)

Saliba was absent from Arsenal's Tuesday training session. Arteta said he had "some niggles" and rested the centre-back for the Kairat game with a view to having him back this weekend.

Jurrien Timber

• Injury: Muscle (undisclosed)
• Expected return date: January 31 (vs. Leeds)

Timber is in the same boat at Saliba and sat out the Kairat match to focus on getting ready for Saturday's trip to Elland Road.

Max Dowman

• Injury: Ankle
• Expected return date: February 14 (vs. Wigan Athletic)

Shuttled back and forth between Arsenal's first team and the U-21 side, Dowman picked up an ankle injury in the youth team's victory over Manchester United in early December. Speaking on January 13, Arteta said Dowman was likely looking at a similar layoff to Mosquera.
