Really, there's been less March Madness this month than usual.
The men's basketball NCAA Tournament features seven of the eight top-two seeds advancing into the Sweet 16. The only upset in that grouping came when No. 1 Florida fell to No. 9 Iowa.
There are also a few other surprises, at least on paper. The 11th-seeded Texas is still alive after playing in the First Four. There's 4-seed Nebraska, which seedings would say should be here but also had never won an NCAA Tournament game before the two it has won this season.
But as always, there are 16 teams left after the first weekend, and if prior March moments have taught us anything, there's still plenty more special waiting just around the corner, even if we don't know yet what it'll be.
So stay tuned when the action resumes later this week. It should be fun.
