Arc Raiders is now live, and it's the perfect time for a weapons tier list for the game. A proper tier list helps you evaluate the best guns to rely on and the ones to skip. The game's huge arsenal boasts a variety of weapons across different categories, each with its own advantages. While some weapons stand out as unique with no direct competition, they may not always be the most viable options in the game.

On that note, here's our weapons tier list for Arc Raiders, ranked from best to worst.

Weapons tier list in Arc Raiders

As of now, there are 18 weapons in the game, each with different categories and firepower. Some can be earned as rewards for completing quests, while others can be found as loot or crafted through the Workshop. In this Arc Raiders weapons tier list, we have evaluated all the weapons based on the following criteria:

  • Damage output
  • Firing rate
  • Arc-destroying power

This weapons tier list will segregate all guns into five different categories: S, A, B, C, and D. The S tier includes the best weapons in the game, followed by A-D in a decreasing order of viability.

S tier

  • Ferro
  • Anvil
  • Osprey
  • Renegade
  • Venator
  • Vulcano
  • Equalizer

A tier

  • IL Toro
  • Tempest
  • Bettina

B tier

  • Torrente
  • Bobcat
  • Burletta

C tier

  • Stitcher
  • Rattler
  • Kettle
  • Arpeggio

D tier

  • Hairpin

In this weapons tier list, the Hairpin falls under the D tier for its overall performance. It is the first weapon that you will get when you start the game, and honestly, it’s arguably one of the worst firearms for several reasons. For those who are unaware, this is the only pistol you get in the game, though you will probably wish you never had it.

The biggest con of the firearm is that it reloads after firing every single shot, which can be very frustrating. Fortunately, you can quickly switch to other automatic rifles once you get past the opening tutorial segment.

All this said, despite its downsides, this gun is renowned for its high stealth stats (thanks to its built-in suppressor), which means you can use it when you want to prevent detection. However, taking down an Arc with it would be challenging. You will likely lose nearly half your health in such a fight, and it will take quite a few hits to bring the Arc down finally.

One of the early-stage weapons that you can rely on in this game is the Ferro, a break-action rifle. It is on the S tier for various reasons, the most notable being its strong Arc-destroying power.

The firearm comes with a damage output of 40 and a firing rate of 6.6m/s, which you can fine-tune by upgrading in the Workshop. Just like the Hairpin, it reloads after hitting a single shot, but it’s worth it, as it only takes two to three hits to destroy an Arc.

If you prefer a sniper rifle, then your only option in the game is the Osprey, a reliable bolt-action. While it's placed in the S tier, its Arc-destroying power is only moderate. However, it is actually useful in various scenarios where the only option is to scout from above. With its built-in long-range scope, you can climb up some high towers and scout a long distance to gather intel.

The firearm has a damage output of 45 and a firing rate of 1.77, making it a great option for sniping. Meanwhile, you can also consider some B-tier weapons, such as the Bobcat or IL Toro, as both provide great value in certain scenarios.
