ARC Raiders is reportedly getting a new map condition, and it's sooner than you expected

After the Cold Snap update, ARC Raiders is reportedly getting a new map condition called Toxic Swamp. This information surfaced on X, shared by @TheRooster, who credited another user, i40R0NA, as the original source. According to the post, three new trials are rumored to be introduced and could go live in the near future, along with a new map condition. The leaker also shared a trick that players can use to verify the information while in-game.

ARC Raiders reportedly getting a new map condition: Everything we know so far

Toxic Swamp is the upcoming rumored map condition that is expected to go live during the next Trial Season. According to the leak post, three new trails may be added to the game: Deliver thermal rocks, Search frozen raider containers, and Throw snowballs at Rocketeers/Bastions. The leaker suggested that players may witness these trials very soon in the upcoming days.

Interestingly, the post also shared a trick where you can verify this information just by changing the Windows date to December 22 or later while in the game. After testing this, we got a couple of weekly trials in ARC Raiders, but no new map condition was mentioned. Here are all of them:

• Throw snowballs at Rocketeers
• Deal damage to Shredders
• Damage flying ARC enemies
• Open ARC Probes
• Destroy Fireballs
• Search First Wave husks
• Damage Leapers
• Harvest plants
• Search frozen Raider containers
• Destroy Ticks

Among these, Throw snowballs at Rocketeers and Search frozen Raider containers are already visible in the game. However, the Deliver thermal rocks trial was missing. The leaker also claimed that there are new rewards for Trials Season 2, which include the "Alpino" outfit.

While some of the leaked details, like the trials, do seem to be accurate, it’s still best to take this information with a grain of salt. If this information turns out to be true, then players may expect to encounter some more challenge objectives across maps during the next update.
