A swarm of anti-ICE protesters attempted to storm a Minnesota hotel where they believed federal officers were staying in a chaotic scene captured on video.

The large mob descended on the Home Suites by Hilton Hotel in St. Paul late Sunday night, as tensions gripped the Twin Cities just one day after Border Patrol agents shot and killed protester Alex Pretti, 37, in Minneapolis.

Many were blowing whistles and clacking bells while demonstrators at the front of the horde tried to violently force their way through the hotel’s front doors, according to a video obtained by FreedomNews.

Pretti, a U.S. citizen and intensive care nurse at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs hospital, was fatally shot by federal immigration agents on January 24 during an enforcement operation, the second such deadly encounter in the city this month and one that has sparked ongoing protests and outrage from state officials and residents. An officer with the Minneapolis Police Department stood just behind the glass doors and repeatedly yanked them shut as one particularly agitated man tried to use a garbage can to wedge it open.

“It says in case of f–king emergency!” the protester jeered as he slammed against the doors.

“I’d like to file a complaint with the Minneapolis Police Department!” he later taunted the cop.

The group eventually stopped trying to bust inside, but remained right at the entrance, staring down the security while banging shovels and cans against the concrete. Others in the back started flashing strobe lights, according to the clip.

“We’re all locals, it’s all locals!” one man shouted as he tried to ward the protesters away.

“You guys are doing this for no reason,” he added.
