Although not a career outing, his all-around contribution helped the Raptors secure a historic 14th straight win and remain unbeaten in the Showcase Cup.
Raptors defeated the Westchester Knicks 126–99 on Tuesday to continue their win streak and make history, becoming the first team in G League history to enter the Winter Showcase with an unbeaten record.
Rookie Alijah Martin once again led the 905 in scoring during the matchup, recording 22 ppg and 4 rpg while shooting 6-11 from the field.
Following their win Raptors will now head to Orlando to prepare for the G League's Winter Showcase as they look to continue their streak in the 31-game event.
The Showcase is a crucial stretch, as the opening of the 10-day contract window gives players an opportunity to earn NBA roster spots.
Angel Reese once opened up about her brother’s early steps into professional basketball
Angel Reese has quickly established herself as one of the WNBA’s standout players since making her debut with the Chicago Sky in 2024. However, she is not the only professional basketball player in her family, as her brother began his own journey this season.
Despite going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, Julian Reese earned a spot on the Los Angeles Lakers’ Summer League roster. Angel later reflected on that milestone during an interview in June.
"I am so proud of my brother," Reese said. "It makes me super emotional because I know his journey and obviously the job isn't done yet ... (But) I'm really happy for him."After his Summer League stint with the Lakers, the former Maryland forward signed with the Toronto Raptors’ G League affiliate, the Raptors 905. He has since averaged 6.8 ppg and 6.2 rpg across 14 appearances.
