Angel Reese made history in the Chicago Sky’s 92-85 win over the Los Angeles Sparks. The victory came on the road and followed a close loss at Golden State on Friday.

After the game, Reese, now in her second WNBA season out of LSU, took a moment to address her critics and fire back at online trolls:

Reese delivered the quote:

" I only had four O-Boards so it wasn't just "Mebounds" tonight."

The term "Mebounds" has been used negatively against Reese, with critics accusing her of intentionally missing shots to collect her own rebounds. Recently, it was reported that Reese has gone as far as to trademark the term.

Reese finished the game with 24 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists. She went 10-for-19 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line. It marked her fourth consecutive game with a double-double.

The win improved Chicago’s record to 5–11 on the season. The loss dropped the Sparks to 5–12. The Sky are now off until July 6, when they’ll visit the Minnesota Lynx.
