Edmonton Oilers forward Andrew Mangiapane was a healthy scratch in their 3-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.
The scratch came amid ongoing rumors, as Mangiapane has struggled this season with just five goals and 11 assists in 39 games, and his ice time has significantly decreased.
According to reports, both the Edmonton Oilers and Andrew Mangiapane are open to a trade if it means a bigger role elsewhere for him. The 30-year-old has a full no-trade clause but would reportedly consider waiving it in the right situation.
