Andrade sets his sights upon major championship following his shocking return to HOG Wrestling

Former WWE star Andrade sent shockwaves through the wrestling world after his recent appearance. The wrestling sensation recently showed up at House of Glory Wrestling's Winter Warfare event.

Earlier this year, El Idolo announced that he was parting ways with the WWE. Since then, the star has made an appearance in AEW. However, the star took a short hiatus before showing up at the NYC Arena this week for HOG's recent event. The star showed up in his signature masked outfit and attacked the House of Glory Heavyweight Champion, Charles Mason. After the attack, he posed with the HOG title, making his intentions clear.

The wrestling world was in shock after the recent appearance with fans on social media, going crazy over the star's appearance. In the aftermath of the attack, Andrade took to Twitter to share an update. The star mentioned that he had set his eyes on only one thing - the HOG Heavyweight Championship.

Andrade recently shared why he chose WWE

During a recent interview with Enmascarados TUDN, the wrestling star detailed that AEW offered him more money to stay with the company back in 2023. However, Andrade had a word about it with his then-wife, Charlotte Flair. The couple decided that they wanted to be in the same company and help each other, and so he jumped ship to the WWE.

"She supported me. We talked as a couple — why not go back to WWE and do something together? Maybe I could help her career, and she could help mine. We’d never done anything together on TV. So we decided: let’s try." (H/T Ringside News)

Now that El Idolo is out of the WWE, it will be interesting to see how his career shapes up and if he can eventually win the HOG title in the coming months.
