There's no two ways about it, the Kansas City Chiefs have their groove back, and Andy Reid's team might be looking ahead to the trade deadline and seeing what move they could make to push them over the top in their quest for another Super Bowl.
Offensively, it doesn't seem like receiver or running back are issues anymore, but offensive line? That could be one area the Chiefs might look at strengthening. Defensively, there could be some more help for Chris Jones and Co., but we are purely speculating here.
In truth, the Chiefs could sit tight and not make any moves and be perfectly fine with the roster they have, and are one of the favorites to make the Super Bowl.
But what if they were to make a move? ESPN's Dan Graziano has given a couple of positions where Kansas City might look to improve.
“The Chiefs are almost always active at the trade deadline,” Graziano writes. “It seems they add a receiver most years. But assuming everyone stays healthy, they seem to like what they have at that position. I also don't get the sense they're desperate to add a running back, as has been speculated by many on the outside since the season began.
“If the Chiefs add at the deadline, I expect it to be on defense -- maybe a veteran edge rusher -- or possibly the offensive line.”

Chiefs once again looming in Super Bowl race
Just a couple of weeks ago, people were sharpening their pitchforks, and now? Well, they've been put away. Sitting at 4-3, the Chiefs feel as ominous as ever, and now with what seems to be a fully healthy roster, or at least most of it, things are beginning to click.
The offense has found its groove with Patrick Mahomes having Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Marquise Brown all on the field together, plus Steve Spagnuolo's defense has stiffened and pitched a shutout against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Everything is starting to come together for the AFC champs, and with the trade deadline approaching, could they make a move to further strengthen? You can't rule it out.
