Analyst reveals best-case draft scenario for Bills

The Buffalo Bills have already planted their flag in the ground when it comes to the receiver narrative this offseason.

Having already traded for DJ Moore to get Josh Allen a top weapon and someone to sit firmly at the top of the depth chart, there were some who thought that would be the end of Buffalo's receiver search.

Well, apparently not as the NFL Draft comes into view.

We have seen several mock drafts where the Bills take a receiver in the first-round, and for Sports Illustrated's Matt Verderame, in his best-case scenario for Buffalo, it's the franchise having its pick of the draft's best receivers.

"Receivers Omar Cooper Jr. (Indiana), Denzel Boston (Washington) and KC Concepcion (Texas A&M) are available, along with options in the front seven," Verderame writes. "General manager Brandon Beane takes the best on the board."

Should Bills add to offensive arsenal?

Of course, there is always that option given how the draft board falls, but defense shouldn't be forgotten here.

We've seen mock drafts where defensive tackle Peter Woods from Clemson has been taken by the Bills, so we can't completely shut the door on a move like that.

But the Bills will go as far as Allen takes them, and if they see a group of receivers somehow fall to them at No. 26, I'd imagine Joe Brady will be banging the table to take one.

The easiest way for Buffalo to break through in the playoffs is to get Allen as many weapons as possible, and the draft could see the Bills add another one.
