Analyst makes incredible Hall of Fame comment on Rams' Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, you could argue, is having the best NFL season of his career, and in the next few weeks, could solidify his standing in the game.

After 4,707 passing yards, 46 TDs, and just eight interceptions, Stafford is right at the pointy end of the MVP conversation with Drake Maye.

With the Rams facing the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game, Stafford has a chance to go to his second Super Bowl.

And for ESPN's Mike Greenberg, if Stafford wins MVP and then the Super Bowl, his spot in Canton is secure.

"I think if he leads this team to a Super Bowl and wins the MVP, now he's a two-time Super Bowl champion and an MVP, which he never previously had been, I think he becomes a lock for the Hall of Fame," Greenberg said.

Rams face tough Seahawks test

With the season series tied at 1-1, this is the tie-breaker with a lot on the line.

The Rams lost the last time they were at Lumen Field, with Stafford throwing for over 450 yards and 3 TDs, as Los Angeles surrendered a 30-14 fourth-quarter lead to lose 38-37 in overtime.

Now, with all the chips pushed into the middle of the table, Stafford and the Rams have a shot at redemption.

Plus, for Stafford, he has a real shot at winning his first MVP and second Super Bowl.

Would that make him a Hall of Fame lock?

Greenberg is convinced, and you can't argue that Stafford's case would be incredibly strong as a result.
