Amy Schumer has thrown her first birthday party as a “single mom” following her surprising split from Chris Fischer.

The comedian took to her Instagram Stories Sunday to share photos from her son, Gene David Fischer’s, 7th birthday party with friends and family.

“This women [sic] just threw her first birthday party as a single mom,” the “Trainwreck” star wrote alongside a photo with pink flowers painted on her face.

“When your friends are family,” she added in another photo with two close friends while enjoying the day’s birthday celebration.

Schumer also shared a series of photos with her mom, Sandra.

Although Gene was featured in a handful of pics, the stand-up comic covered his face with different emojis. Fischer was notably absent from the party.

Following a sweet snap of Gene’s ninja-themed birthday cake, the comedian posted several photos from a day out at the Central Park Zoo.

Schumer’s reps did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “I Feel Pretty” star and Fischer welcomed their son in May 2019, one year after secretly tying the knot in February 2018.

But Schumer took to social media in December 2025 to announce she and the pro chef were splitting up.

“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she captioned a lengthy Instagram post.

“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”

She then filed for divorce from Fischer this past January.

A source told Page Six, however, that the “Kinda Pregnant” star and Fischer were still living together for Gene despite their split.

“She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more,” the insider said between the pair’s December 2025 breakup and January 2026 divorce filing. “They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake.”

The source went on to explain that Schumer “wants them to continue to be very much united when it comes to raising their son.”

“Amy wants Chris to stick around for Gene … If she contemplates another comedy tour at any point in the future, she wants Chris to be the one looking after Gene and ideally be willing to travel with her,” the insider shared.

“She just never wants to be romantically involved with him again,” they added.
