All Paint Cage locations in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Verso's Drafts

There are two Paint Cages in the new Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Verso's Drafts update, and unlocking them grants you a new weapon for Lune and a Chroma Elixir Shard, respectively. To get these items, you must strike three targets for each puzzle. Since some of the targets are difficult to track, it can be a hassle to unlock the cages.

Here are the details about the Paint Cage locations in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Verso's Drafts and how to decipher them.

Paint Cage near the Open Playground flag

Go this way to find the first Paint Cage (Image via Sandfall Interactive)

Upon entering this new region of Verso's Drafts, the Open Playground flag is the first teleportation point you will come across.

From there, take the left pathway going downwards to find a Paint Cage hidden behind a big rock. To unlock it, hit the following targets:

Target #1

Hit the balloon located above the Paint Cage (Image via Sandfall Interactive)

Look above the respective Paint Cage to find the first balloon. Aim and strike at the target to pop it.

Target #2

Look to the left to find the second balloon to pop.

Target #3

Hit this third balloon target (Image via Sandfall Interactive)

The last one is on the right side of the Paint Cage, and popping it will unlock the puzzle. You can then pick up a new Dark-element weapon for Lune, Esquim.

Paint Cage near the gingerbread door

To find the second and the final Paint Cage in the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Verso's Drafts update, head to the giant gingerbread door with a moustache, which asks you to find three pieces of cake.

From there, you can see the Paint Cage on the backside. Proceed through the left pathway and crouch beneath the fallen tree to locate it. Here are the targets you need to hit to unlock the Paint Cage:

Target #1

The first balloon is just behind the Paint Cage. Aim and pop the target to progress.

Target #2

The next target is a little farther away from the Paint Cage, towards the front. Check the attached image to learn the location.

Target #3

Lastly, look in the opposite direction of the Paint Cage to find the third balloon. Strike the target to unlock the puzzle and collect the Chroma Elixir Shard as a reward.
