All new Grow a Garden Mega Safari Harvest Pets

Roblox Grow a Garden allows you to become a gardener and grow plants in-game. These plants can then be harvested to sell and generate some income. To grow your garden faster, the game contains pets with different passive abilities.

On November 8, 2025, Grow a Garden launched its Mega Safari Harvest update, adding six new pets to the game. This guide will introduce new pets and how to unlock them during this update.

Here are all the new pets:

Lion

• Tier: Divine
• How to Get: Can be obtained from the Safari Shop as the game clears the Global Milestone of 290B points.
• Passive Ability: The Lion has two passives, Lion Call and King of the Safari. Whenever the prior is active, the lion will roar and share an advanced cooldown across all pets. While the latter will mutate as many fruits as you have Safari pets in your garden with Safari Mutation.
• Description: Has a normal lion-like appearance with a brown-colored mane and a brownish-yellow body.

Crocodile

• Tier: Mythic
• How to Get: Can be bought from the Safari Shop as the game clears the Global Milestone of 245B points.
• Passive Ability: Occasionally bites a random plant, granting faster growth, or a random pet, granting bonus XP per second. This ability lasts for 30 seconds.
• Description: A sea green-colored crocodile-like creature.

Hippo

• Tier: Legendary
• How to Get: Can be bought from the Safari Shop as the game clears the Global Milestone of 230B points.
• Passive Ability: Occasionally grants a watermelon with a 2x value bonus with a 30% chance to recover that seed. Every ~18 minutes, it can mutate a nearby fruit with the Monsoon mutation.
• Description: A hippo-like creature having big nostrils.

Cape Buffalo

• Tier: Rare
• How to get: Can be bought from the Safari Shop as the game clears the Global Milestone of 195B points.
• Passive Ability: A 10% chance for normal plants and a 15% chance for Safari plants to duplicate during the harvest.
• Description: A brown-colored buffalo having big and long, rounded horns.

Hyena

• Tier: Uncommon
• How to get: Can be bought from the Safari Shop as the game clears the Global Milestone of 165B points.
• Passive Ability: The pet will gain additional XP per second for each hyena placed on the plot. This ability is only when you place at least one pet other than a hyena.
• Description: A light brown colored hyena-like creature with a brown colored mouth and ears.

Gecko

• Tier: Common
• How to get: Can be bought from the Safari Shop as the game clears the Global Milestone of 130B points.
• Passive Ability: All safari pets in its range have an increased chance of getting a variant.
• Description: A light green-colored chameleon-like creature.
