Alex Tuch is going to seek a contract this offseason that pays him something like $11 million or $12 million per year.
And as probably the top free agent forward in his prime that'll be available, he might just get it.
The Buffalo Sabres winger isn't doing himself any favors in the postseason, though.
Through five games against the Montreal Canadiens, Tuch has the same amount of points in the series as we do.
The Sabres are getting crushed with him on the ice, too, a minus-8.
It's just been brutal from Tuch, and now the Sabres' backs are against the wall down 3-2 and heading to Montreal for Game 6.
Alex Tuch wants $11 million a season, but he and I have the same amount of points against the Canadiens in this series and he’s a -8 while I’m even.
So who really deserves $11 million a year?

Tuch has had a curious season all the way around for Buffalo.
He was a likely trade candidate when the season began, with the Sabres not expected to contend.
All of a sudden, though, Buffalo was in the thick of things, so Tuch wasn't traded at the deadline.
He even was talking about aiming not just for the playoffs but for hoisting the Stanley Cup.
Now, he has disappeared.
For Buffalo's season to last any longer, Tuch is going to have to figure things out in a hurry.
