Detroit Lions fans are going to have even more stress this holiday season, and we're not just talking about Thanksgiving, either.
Detroit and its fans have drawn the unfortunate scheduling quirk of having games on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day for the 2025 season, as if the holiday season wasn't stressful enough in and of itself.
While we don't yet know who the Lions will play on Thanksgiving as of this writing, we do know Detroit will take on its division rival, the Minnesota Vikings, at U.S. Bank Stadium on Christmas Day, according to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz.
And, as if you didn't have enough to spend on Christmas, get ready to purchase a Netflix account, also, as that's where the game will be broadcast.
In the wake of that news being announced, Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone took to social media with a three-word reaction that says it all.
"Breaks my heart," Anzalone wrote on X.
Anzalone's reaction is understandable, especially given the fact that he has young kids. Safe to say those who cover the Lions — like yours truly — feel exactly the same way.
