Between July 21 and August 2, St. Catharines experienced three intense rainstorms, delivering more than 300 mm of rainfall to some neighbourhoods. The severe weather caused widespread flooding and significant property damage, leaving many families facing an urgent and challenging recovery.

Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold, in co-ordination with the City of St. Catharines, is supporting affected residents with essential resources, including cleaning supplies and household items, food security services, and emergency assistance. Residents can also access the City’s Flood Recovery Hotline at 905-984-8953 for information on available supports.
