The Detroit Lions are going to have one extra fan in the building for their Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, as star edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson will be in attendance.
Hutchinson suffered a broken tibia and fibula during the Week 6 game against the Dallas Cowboys that will sideline him indefinitely. The former No. 2 overall pick won't be back for the regular season, but there is hope he can return for the Super Bowl, assuming the Lions make it that far.
Thanks to video from Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News, we got a look at the Lions star entering the building on Sunday morning. He was equipped with crutches as he continues to recover from his injury.

— Nolan Bianchi (@nolanbianchi) November 17, 2024This is the second game Hutchinson has been in attendance for, at least that we know of. He was also in the building for the Lions' Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans.
There has been momentum building for weeks now that Hutchinson could be back if the Lions make a late run in the playoffs. And that gained even more steam on Saturday, when Hutchinson shared this video of him taking steps in a pool.
Bear in mind, he's just one month removed from the injury, so that's quite impressive.
Last month, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Hutchinson's break was a clean one, which will allow him to return in four to six months and gives him a chance to make it back by the Super Bowl.
"Sources say there are several factors that point to Hutchinson potentially being back at the early benchmark of four months -- which would be right at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9, 2025 -- provided Detroit makes it, of course," Rapoport reported last month.
"I would say if anybody can make it back, it would be him," Campbell said of the possibility that Hutchinson makes it back at some point this season.
Hutchinson's injury occurred on Oct. 13 and the Super Bowl is on Feb. 9, so he got hurt just a shade under four months out from the Big Game.
For now, the Lions will try to weather the storm with the addition of Za'Darius Smith, who was acquired in a trade with the Cleveland Browns ahead of the deadline.
Smith is under contract in 2025, also, so the Lions can deploy him opposite Hutchinson next year. However, we'd rather see them playing together much sooner than that, and by much sooner, we mean in the Super Bowl.
