‘Age Of Attraction’ Finale: Who Got Dumped? And Who Got Engaged?

1 hour ago 3

The Age of Attraction finale has landed on Netflix, and viewers are finally finding out whether or not age truly matters for the five couples who made it to the end.

Hosted by Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, Age of Attraction has followed six couples with age differences as low as 16 years and as high as 33 years to see if age actually matters when a meaningful connection has been formed. In the first seven episodes, the couples lived together in the real world and introduced one another to their closest friends and families. In the eighth and final episode of the season, they must decide whether or not they want to commit to each other and continue their relationship outside of the show.

Of course, their massive age differences are hardly the only factors at play. While most of the contestants have managed to look past the years they were born, personality flaws, differing lifestyles, and outside voices have made them question whether or not they have truly found their forever person.

So, what happened in the Age of Attraction finale? Who left the show as a couple? And who got dumped? Keep reading for everything we know!

  1. Theresa & John – 27-Year Age Difference

Theresa Demaria, 54, and John Merrill, 29, have been one of Age of Attraction’s strongest couples from the start. At the commitment ceremony, John professed his love to Theresa, who appeared hesitant to continue their unorthodox relationship outside of the experiment. For a moment, it seemed like she was about to break things off, but a last-minute letter from her three children expressing approval of John changed Theresa’s mind, prompting her and John to fully commit to one another.

  2. Libby & Andrew – 16-Year Age Difference

The relationship between Andrew Wheeler, 38, and Libby Vodicka, 22, was certainly under fire by their friends, but that didn’t stop them from continuing their romance IRL. At the commitment ceremony, both Andrew and Libby said they loved each other, before he invited her to come back to Baltimore as his girlfriend to meet his two daughters. Talk about a hard launch!

  3. Pfeifer & Derrick – 20-Year Age Difference

Derrick Fleming, 43, and Pfeiffer Hill, 23, might have a 20-year age difference — and he might have two children — but that didn’t stop them from committing to one another. At the commitment ceremony, Pfeiffer vowed to move her life from Seattle to Dallas to be with Derrick, who gifted her a key to his (now their) place. I’m sure their decision was made easier by the approval from Pfeiffer’s dad in the last batch of episodes!

  4. Logan & Vanessa – 20-Year Age Difference

I was absolutely convinced that Logan Goodrid, 29, was about to end things with Vanessa Drozda, 49, at the commitment ceremony. But, in a surprising turn of events, he did not only commit to her for the foreseeable future, but for their entire lives. Following his speech, Logan got down on one knee, pulled out an engagement ring, and PROPOSED to Vanessa. We look forward to seeing how their wedding planning is going at the reunion!

  5. Leah & Chris – 15-Year Age Difference

Leah Woolfolk, 41, and Chris Dahlan, 26, haven’t exactly had the easiest time in their partnership. Chris often described Leah as needy and clingy, while he preferred to have his own space. Unfortunately, their communication issues and inability to get on the same page continued well into the commitment ceremony, during which Leah vowed her commitment to Chris, who ultimately chose to end their relationship. Whomp, whomp.

  6. Jorge & Vanelle – 33-Year Age Difference

Remember these two? In case you missed it, Jorge Sanchez, 60, and Vanelle Fenmou, 27, didn’t even make it to the commitment ceremony. Instead, they called off their relationship and exited the show in Episode 5 after their differences became too much to bear.
