A 20-year-old AEW star won a World Championship outside Tony Khan's promotion recently. The star is also a top performer in the Ring of Honor and has not appeared on All Elite TV for some time.

The AEW star, Billie Starkz is officially a World Champion. Billie has been performing in All Elite Wrestling since 2022. She is currently one of the top stars in the Ring of Honor as well. The 20-year-old star's last appearance on All Elite TV happened to be in August, where she wrestled on an episode of Collision.

Meanwhile, Billie Starkz recently challenged Charles Mason for the JCW World Heavyweight Championship in an inter-gender match. At the end, Starkz managed to get the pin over Mason with the roll up and captured the JCW World title. It happens to be a men's title, as JCW also has a women's title.

Wrestling veteran believed AEW star is not ready for TV

The wrestling veteran, Jim Cornette claimed earlier this year that the AEW star, Billie Starkz is not ready for TV. Speaking on his Drive-Thru podcast in March, Cornette said Starkz should be on the indies and not on TV:

"Billie Starkz... She's a kid. I don't know she's ready for national TV yet. She has poor posture, she stands with her head drooping over, is it scoliosis, I don't know. She needs to stand up straight. But the point is, you know, Billie Starkz right now, 20 years old or however old she is, she don't have much of a tan, she don't have much of a physique, she's not very old, she's not full-grown yet, she might do good on the indies, but do you put her on national TV as a prodigy? And the answer is, no you don't, 'cause she ain't," Jim said.

Only time will tell what the future has in store for Billie Starkz after she won the JCW World title.
