San Diego Padres reliever Adrian Morejon's wife, Melany, is in Aruba and is sending wild vibes from her tropical paradise. The couple is spending quality time overseas after a great year for the pitcher.
On Tuesday, Melany shared a small clip in which she is drinking a cocktail topped with a miniature shark. She was wearing a cheetah-print bikini and had a cross hanging around her neck.

Earlier in the day, Melany captured Morejon doing an exercise, stretching with the help of a rope tied to a long stand. This is the kind of exercise generally done by the pitcher to warm up.
"Baseball never stops," she wrote. In another story, Melany can be seen doing a version of squats with the help of weight rings inside a gym. She got real about the weather in Aruba, saying:
"Aruba heat has me sweating let me tell you!!"
Melany's Instagram storyWhile it's unknown how the two first met and started dating, they are together since Morejon's time in the minor league with the Padres’ High-A affiliate, the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Before the 2025 season, the couple reportedly tied the knot.
Melany has regularly attended Padres games, cheering Morejon on. The reliever also made use of the full support, earning his first career All-Star selection. Melany also accompanied him to the All-Star red carpet in Atlanta.
Melany's support fueled Adrian Morejon's breakout season
Adrian Morejon had a fantastic year, posting a 13-6 record, most by a Padres reliever in franchise history, and an ERA of 2.08. He struck out 70 in 73.2 innings pitched while also recording three saves.
Just two years ago, Morejon had a tough season in 2023. He made a drastic turnaround in just two years, and a major part of that result was Melany, who influenced his nutrition and daily habits positively.
"I think 2023 was my worst year," Morejon said. "Hands down, '23 was my worst year. So, during that offseason, I decided to make a change. I decided to make a change to all of my routines, all of my plans. Everything that I had and that I did to prepare myself, I changed all of it. And even my wife, who’s really big into (nutrition), she changed my complete diet."Morejon will hope to retain this version of himself in 2026 and beyond.
