Adam Pearce has his eyes set on a massive potential signing for Monday Night RAW. However, he won't be the only one vying for a signature as RAW and SmackDown are seemingly set to go into a bidding war over this superstar.

That superstar is none other than the incredible, high-flying 21-year-old star, Je'Von Evans from NXT. Evans recently won the Iron Survivor Challenge, but cashed in his title shot early on and lost to Oba Femi yet again. With seemingly no route forward to the NXT Championship, he has been floating back and forth on the WWE main roster, with a notable showcase at Saturday Night's Main Event. Ever since then, the higher-ups on the main roster seemingly couldn't get enough of Evans and kept calling him back. As he was seen walking into the cold arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Michael Cole confirmed that he is a soon-to-be free agent.

This week, in a backstage segment on RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce was talking to Je'Von Evans, and he was extremely happy with the 21-year-old star and what he was seeing. Adam Pearce told Je'Von Evans that after the match, they should have a conversation about his future, with this being a clear tease of Evans' potential move to RAW.

Evans would go on to pick up a massive victory over Rayo Americano, continuing to impress in every way. It's going to be interesting to see what ultimately ends up happening as SmackDown's Nick Aldis is likely to attempt to sign him as well.

Considering that WWE is reverting to the three-hour SmackDown format, it might make sense for them to put a star like Evans on the blue brand. There have been calls to seriously revamp SmackDown, and adding some star power and fresh names could be a solution.
