Adam Pearce made an announcement regarding John Cena ahead of tomorrow night's episode of WWE RAW. Tomorrow night's edition of the red brand will air live from Boston, MA.

John Cena will be retiring from in-ring competition on December 13 at Saturday Night's Main Event, and there is a tournament underway to determine his final opponent. Ahead of this week's episode of WWE RAW, the promotion shared a video featuring Adam Pearce, and he shared that The Cenation Leader would be kicking off tomorrow night's show.

"As it marks the final appearance on RAW in Boston for the never-seen, 17, greatest of all time, John Cena. And John kicks off the broadcast live in Beantown," said Pearce.

Cena captured the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 and held the title until The American Nightmare won it back at SummerSlam 2025. The 48-year-old has not competed in a match since his victory over AJ Styles at Crown Jewel last month.

John Cena's father reacts to his victory at WWE Crown Jewel

John Cena Sr. recently shared his thoughts on his son's victory over AJ Styles at Crown Jewel.

In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Cena Sr. suggested that younger wrestlers could learn about ring psychology by watching Cena and Styles' match at the PLE last month in Australia. He noted that his son and Styles gave the crowd what they wanted and listened to their feedback during the match.

"The one thing that they learned, and the young people need to learn in this business, is ring psychology. They read their crowd, and they performed to what the crowd wanted. You notice they didn't stop. They listened. And when they did, they just went bang, bang, bang. They work so well together, so well together. And I think that's so important in this business," he said.

John Cena makes his final Monday Night #WWERaw appearance in Boston at TD Garden tomorrow night. This venue saw him capture two of his 17 World Championships.

Cena turned heel earlier this year but became a babyface once again ahead of his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2025. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the legend during the rest of his retirement tour.
