2025 ACM Awards: The Biggest Winners Of The Night

It’s time to tip your hat to these country music stars.

That’s right, country music’s finest gathered together at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas May 17 to hand out the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards to some of the genre’s biggest names.

At the event hosted by Shania Twain, “Am I Okay?” singer Megan Moroney led the 2026 nominee class with nine nominations, while fellow Female Artist of the Year nominee Miranda Lambert—the winningest artist in ACM Awards history—followed closely behind with eight nods.

Meanwhile, Yellowstone actress Ella Langley and newlywed Lainey Wilson—also nominees for Female Artist of the Year—each garnered seven nominations.

Moroney and Wilson will also face off against Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen for Entertainer of the Year.

Even before the show started, though, the Academy had crowned multiple winners. Indeed, “Fear in God” singer Avery Anna won New Female Artist of the Year, while “Sunburn” singer Tucker Wetmore earned the New Male Artist equivalent.

“I’m just so grateful for this, I’m so honored,” Anna said last month, per Music Row, after she was surprised on stage at the Lone Star Smokeout music festival with the win. “Thank you guys for rallying for me, supporting me and cheering me on. I thank God every day that I get to do this and that he put this passion on my heart.”

For his part, Tucker—who was also surprised with the news during a concert last month—said, “I’m at a loss for words right now for the first time in a long time. I can’t do any of this without you guys,” per Music Row.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a country music awards show without a few performances.

In addition to many of the night’s nominees, country music legends like Blake Shelton, Kane Brown and Thomas Rhett took the stage to perform.
