With the women's lacrosse regular season wrapped up, it's time to name a conference champion. The 2026 ACC tournament gets underway in Charlotte this week.
For the seventh time in the last 10 tournaments, North Carolina has secured the No. 1 overall seed. The Tar Heels are defending NCAA champions after defeating Northwestern 12-8 in last year's title game. Following close behind in the bracket are No. 2 Stanford, No. 3 Clemson and No. Syracuse.
All eight teams competing in the tournament are ranked in the latest IWLCA poll, including four in the top 10. The ACC has the most programs in the poll amongst all conferences on the collegiate level.

ACC women's lacrosse tournament schedule 2026
The 2026 ACC lacrosse tournament will begin on Wednesday, April 22, and conclude with the championship game on Sunday, April 26. All games will take place at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
