India’s opening pair, Abhishek Sharma and vice-captain Shubman Gill, enjoyed a relaxed outing at the beach. This comes ahead of the fourth T20I of the five-match series against Australia, scheduled for Thursday, November 6, at the Carrara Oval Stadium in Queensland.

The series opener in Canberra ended in a no result due to rain, while the hosts clinched a four-wicket win in the second game in Melbourne. However, India bounced back strongly in the third T20I in Hobart, chasing down 187 to secure a five-wicket victory.

Ahead of the penultimate clash, on Tuesday, November 4, Abhishek and Shubman appeared in high spirits, with the former sharing a post on Instagram showing the duo enjoying their time at Broadbeach, Queensland.

“Hopefully can get him cheaply” - Matt Kuhnemann wary of Abhishek Sharma’s form ahead of 4th T20I

Australia spinner Matt Kuhnemann has heaped praise on India’s Abhishek Sharma ahead of the fourth T20I, while expressing hope that the hosts can dismiss him cheaply. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, November 4, he said [as quoted by RevSportz]:

“Hopefully, Xavier Bartlett or one of the quicks. Benny Dwarshuis can take his wicket in the first couple of overs. He’s a serious talent and just goes so hard from ball one. It’s going to be a great spectacle on Thursday, but hopefully these boys can get him cheaply.”

Abhishek Sharma has featured in 27 T20Is, scoring 961 runs at an average of 36.96 and an impressive strike rate of 192.20, including six half-centuries and two centuries to his name.
