Aaron Rodgers fuels marriage rumors during Steelers signing

You never know what Aaron Rodgers is going to do next.

After months of speculation, the 41-year-old NFL quarterback announced his plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, June 6, ending a highly anticipated free agency waiting game and punting retirement a bit further down the road.

After passing his physical, Rodgers signed a one-year, $13.6 million contract with the Steelers that includes a $10 million guarantee and up to $19.5 million in incentives on Saturday, according to the NFL network

However, the terms of the contract wasn't the only thing that had fans talking, it was also a ring - which appeared to be a wedding band - that Rodgers wore on his left hand during the signing over the weekend.

Fans began buzzing after the Steelers shared a photo on Instagram showing Rodgers signing his contract with the ring clearly visible on his left hand.

They captioned the post, "Officially official."

One fan commented on the post, "Marriage ring?"

Another person wrote, "What's going with this married ring?"

Someone else commented, "Does the wedding ring mean he's married to the game?"

This isn't the first time the newly minted Steelers quarterback has fueled marriage rumors in recent months. Rodgers also sported a shiny accessory on his ring finger at a Kentucky Derby event in Louisville on May 2.

In December 2024, Rodgers revealed on the "Pat MacAfee Show" that he's in a relationship with a woman named "Brittani," however, very few other details are known about his latest love interest.

At the time, the NFL player seemed happy about his current relationship, although he didn't specify how they met or how long they'd been together.

"It's a good feeling boys," Rodgers said.

Prior to Brittani, the 41-year-old was notably linked to Olivia Munn, Nascar star Danica Patrick, and Shailene Woodley.
