Glenn Close looks completely unrecognizable in the recently released teaser trailer for “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.”

The actress, 78, appears in the sneak peek, which was released on Thursday, shocking fans with her appearance as she sports fake teeth and facial prosthetics.

“Welcome Panem, to the glorious reaping of District 12,” says Close, who plays Drusilla Sickle, the District 12 tribute escort, before letting the crowd of people know they’ll need to send twice the number of tributes to the “Hunger Games.”

“Twice the tributes,” Drusilla says. “Twice the glory.”

The scene then cuts to a shot of the contestants as they face off against each other in a grassy, wooded arena with flourishing plant and animal life.

“Next year, a new era of the Games begins,” the screen reads before the trailer closes.

Close’s appearance in the forthcoming movie’s trailer comes on the heels of her recent turn in Hulu’s critically panned “All’s Fair” alongside Kim Kardashian.

The prequel film is based on Suzanne Collins’ 2025 book of the same name within the “Hunger Games” series.

The book “revisits the world of Panem twenty-four years before the events of ‘The Hunger Games,’ starting on the morning of the reaping of the Fiftieth Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell,” according to the author’s site.

“As the day dawns on the fiftieth annual Hunger Games, fear grips the districts of Panem,” reads the description.

“This year, in honor of the Quarter Quell, twice as many tributes will be taken from their homes. Back in District 12, Haymitch Abernathy is trying not to think too hard about his chances. All he cares about is making it through the day and being with the girl he loves,” it continues.

Joseph Zada, Whitney Peak, McKenna Grace, Ralph Fiennes, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Jesse Plemons, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Maya Hawke and Billy Porter also star in the film.

“The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” will be released in theaters on Nov. 20, 2026.
