A Good Shout enters the new arsenal of Crossbows in Destiny 2. This new Heavy Void weapon grants access to both weakening and damaging perks, which can be used simultaneously for a greater damage output in endgame activities. While the weapon type is still lacking behind in high-end boss DPS charts, Heavy Crossbows can be powerful Champion killers to make an encounter more easier to handle for a fireteam.

This article lists the best perks on the new Void Heavy Crossbow, called A Good Shout, for PvE and PvP.

A Good Shout PvE god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on the "A Good Shout" Crossbow in PvE:

  • Quickload Rail for increased reload speed and reduced velocity.
  • Charged Bolt for dealing damage over time to target after getting attached to target.
  • Withering Gaze for weakening a target after aiming the weapon.
  • Box Breathing for increased precision damage after aiming the weapon.

This combination should be enough to deal with powerful enemies in endgame activities, including elites, Champions, and mini-bosses.

For a more clearing approach in standard difficulties, or easier solo activities, go for Repulsor Brace and Destabiliazing Rounds.

A Good Shout PvP god roll in Destiny 2

Here is a list of perks recommended on the "A Good Shout" Crossbow in PvP:

  • Mag-Rev Rail for increased bolt projectile speed.
  • Heavy Bolt for increased damage at the cost of speed.
  • Withering Gaze for weakening a target after aiming the weapon.
  • Box Breathing for increased precision damage after aiming the weapon.

No Distraction is a decent alternative, alongside Destabilizing Rounds/Demoralize in 6v6 situations.
