The easiest way to get the Laser Cannon is to play as a Cyborg. This Class can be unlocked for 600 Diamonds from the Daily Class Shop, provided it is available in the shop stock.

If you don’t have the Class unlocked or prefer a different player archetype, you can get the Cannon in broken UFOs and Motherships. These areas feature the Laser Cannon as a random drop, but you may also get it through Alien Chests. It is also a random reward through the Trick-or-Treat minigame, which will be available until November 15, 2025.

The Laser Cannon boasts high stats that can take down nearly all hostile foes with ease. It has a high damage stat of 70, which jumps to 80 for a Tier 2 Cyborg. The projectile it fires has little to no travel time, meaning it will hit the enemy the instant you press the Left Mouse Button. Since it uses built-in energy reserves, it doesn’t need ammo to reload.

That said, the Cannon does have a few drawbacks that make it less effective when used without a sidearm. Once fired, it uses up 75% of its available energy reserves. The energy reserves refill on their own, but the weapon takes up to eight seconds to do so. So, you will need another weapon to get you by while the Cannon is in the cooldown state.

Its effectiveness is at its peak when used with other players, who can cover for you while it cools down. If multiple people in your play group have this weapon, it may be better to use them one at a time instead of all at once. That way, you won’t be left defenseless after using up all of the weapon’s energy.
