On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to host the Chicago Bulls as they look to build on their string of wins over the weekend, with both coming in rather close fashion. Saturday night's game ended in a five-point victory over the Charlotte Hornets, with Tyrese Maxey leading the charge for the Sixers with 38 points and four makes from beyond the arc.

While it doesn't give away the whole story against Charlotte, one of the circumstances surrounding Philadelphia for that match was the absence of Joel Embiid, who sat out of the match due to injury management. This absence deprived the Sixers of the 19.2 points and 9.4 rebounds he's been averaging this season, with backup center Adem Bona receiving a near season-high in minutes, playing a total of 22 minutes on Saturday.

Embiid's status against Chicago wasn't any better when Philadelphia's initial injury report came out on Sunday afternoon, as he was listed as questionable for Monday night's action. But it appears that the Sixers' medical staff have made up their minds regarding Embiid's status.

In the minutes leading up to tip-off, the Sixers named their starting lineup against the Bulls, and it appears that Embiid will be nestled right in the front court. This shouldn't come as too much of a shock given that he was spotted warming up earlier on in the evening.

Tip-off between Philadelphia and Chicago from the Xfinity Mobile Arena is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST.
