The Philadelphia 76ers are trading Eric Gordon to the Memphis Grizzlies for a 2032 second-round pick swap, per ESPN's Shams Charania.
Gordon has played in six games this season, averaging 5.5 points and 0.5 assists. He's an 18-year NBA veteran who's a 43% career 3-point shooter. He was in his second season in Philly after playing in 39 games last year.
The Sixers are $5.3 million below the luxury tax and have three open roster spots, per ESPN's Bobby Marks. The Grizzlies must waive or trade a player for the deal to become finalized.

One of those spots could be filled by two-way player Dominick Barlow, who's averaging 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds this season. Barlow has already played in 40 games this season, 10 below the league's limit for two-way players.
It's been a busy trade deadline for Philadelphia, which sent Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a 2026 Houston Rockets first-round pick and three second-round picks.
Both deals clear the way for the Sixers to sign Quentin Grimes to a long-term extension. Grimes is playing on the qualifying offer this season after extension talks broke down last summer.
General Manager Daryl Morey could make another deal before the 4 pm EST trade deadline. The buyout market may also be an option, which Morey has used in the past.
The Sixers (29-21) have won five straight games and are fifth in the Eastern Conference, 8.5 games behind the top-seeded Detroit Pistons. Philadelphia returns to the court Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
