The Philadelphia 76ers made some major moves this summer, completely reshaping their roster by adding two of the biggest stars in the game. It all started with acquiring Jaylen Brown in a trade after he grew unhappy with the Boston Celtics.

The 76ers then decided to go all in by signing LeBron James. After making those moves, Philadelphia also added Tacko Fall, the tallest player in the NBA.

“The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr. and Saint Thomas, the team announced. All three players are on Exhibit 10 deals, a source told ESPN, and will be a part of Sixers training camp," ESPN's Dave McMenamin posted.

Although Fall did not play during the preseason, the 76ers need depth at center after losing Ariel Hukporti. Fall was subsequently converted from an Exhibit 10 deal to a two-way contract.

“The Philadelphia 76ers are signing 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall to a two-way NBA contract, sources tell ESPN. Fall enters his fourth NBA season after the 76ers convert his exhibit 10 deal," ESPN's Shams Charania wrote.

Philadelphia opens its season Tuesday night against the defending NBA champion New York Knicks. It should be an exciting matchup, especially after the 76ers revamped their roster this offseason. However, Fall is expected to miss the opener while dealing with a quadriceps injury.

“Injury report for opening night in New York: OUT: Dominick Barlow (low back stress reaction) Tacko Fall (left quadriceps strain). QUESTIONABLE: Anfernee Simons (left hamstring tightness), Adem Bona (left foot sprain), Dean Wade (left ankle sprain),” Sixers Wire’s Ky Carlin wrote.

Philadelphia will be without some size, potentially forcing James to spend time at center. Fall's absence hurts the team's depth at the position, where the 76ers are already relatively thin.

It will be interesting to see how quickly the revamped roster develops chemistry. The matchup between two Eastern Conference powerhouses should be an exciting one, but Philadelphia will have to open the season without the league's tallest player.
