After an underwhelming 2025, WWE will look to redeem itself heading into next year. One way the Triple H-led creative team can enhance the product is by presenting certain factions more effectively.
Groups are always an entertaining part of television. Whether it's a cohesive unit or a chaotic one, it creates drama and engaging storylines. That being said, let's look at five WWE teams that must be pushed in 2026.
#5. The Wyatt Sicks
The group created in the memory of the late great Bray Wyatt, The Wyatt Sicks, has found success in the tag team division. Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis are the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions and have dominated nearly every team in the division on SmackDown.
However, the group's leader, Uncle Howdy, has yet to receive an opportunity to shine as a singles wrestler. The eerie faction's booking has been very inconsistent thus far, something that should change next year. The Wyatt Sicks should be featured in a more prominent role, with Uncle Howdy potentially entering the main event scene.
#4. MFT
Following a lackluster initial run, fans had high expectations from MFT after Solo Sikoa regrouped the faction with the returning Tama Tonga. The stable debuted a new look, with every member except Sikoa sporting face paint.
The faction felt different and more dangerous than before. However, even after the repackaging, MFT has not found much success yet, hovering around the upper midcard scene. Given its potential, the Triple H-led creative team must make the Sikoa-led faction a serious threat in 2026.
#3. Los Americanos
Since Ludwig Kaiser took over the El Grande Americano character, he has been joined by two more masked superstars: Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano, who we believe are played by Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, respectively.
The luchador faction has been appearing on RAW, NXT, and even AAA. The masked trio does have a unique vibe and three world-class performers in it. In 2026, WWE needs to showcase Los Americanos in a more prominent role on television.
#2. American Made needs to be showcased more in WWE
Ever since Chad Gable was sidelined with an injury, American Made has gotten lost in the shuffle. The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile are rarely on WWE television, and even when they do make an appearance, they often end up on the losing side.
When Master Gable is back in the mix, American Made needs to establish itself as a threat. The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile have a lot of potential, and with the right direction, the group could thrive in 2026.
#1. DarkState
Dion Lennox, Saquan Shugars, Cutler James, and Osiris Griffin, collectively known as DarkState, have been on an impressive run in NXT since debuting as a faction. Griffin and Shugars currently hold the NXT Tag Team Titles together, while Lennox has been on a quest to establish himself in the singles division.
The young stars appear promising and could turn into major players in WWE. The Triple H-led creative team has to give DarkState a major push upon its arrival to the main roster.
