The LIV Golf transfer window is officially open, and fans have their eyes on what changes could unfold in the upcoming season. The 2025 season wrapped up with its finale in August, and there are still a few months to go before the new season begins.
After the 2025 season, players who finished in the top 24 in the season standings secured their spot in the lock zone, while those finishing from 25 to 48 are in the open zone. The remaining players fall into the drop zone.
Teams can re-sign players from the open zone, but drop zone players cannot be signed for the next year. However, they still have opportunities to make their way back to the series through the International Series rankings or LIV Golf Promotions events.

#2 Torque GC One Player

Their team player, Mito Pereira, had a tough time on the greens this season and settled in the drop zone in 51st position. During the LIV Golf transfer window, it will be interesting to see whether Torque GC signs a new player or not.
#3 HyFlyers GC Situation

Andy Ogletree (Image Source: Imagn)One of the members from Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC, Andy Ogletree, also settled in the drop zone after the 2025 LIV Golf season. He struggled on the circuit and finished 50th in the standings. He recorded his best result at the Korea event, where he finished 17th. All eyes are on him to see who could possibly replace him in the team, or if he will return to the circuit.
#4 Anthony Kim’s possible replacement

He played last season and returned to compete in 2025, but had a tough time on the circuit, finishing in 55th place. It will be interesting to see if he can make his way back to the series through LIV Golf promotions or International Series ranking, or will be replaced.
#5Cleeks GC dilemma
