49ers' Christian McCaffrey joins Randy Moss, Marshall Faulk with 50-TD NFL history

The San Francisco 49ers easily beat the Miami Dolphins in Week 2, and in the process of securing the win, Christian McCaffrey reached quite an impressive milestone.

McCaffrey recorded his 100th career touchdown and his 50th touchdown with the 49ers in the win over the Dolphins. But with his 50 touchdowns with the Carolina Panthers, CMC has made some very fun NFL history.

As ESPN Insights shared, McCaffrey becomes the third player in NFL history with 50-plus TDs for two different teams, joining NFL legends Randy Moss and Marshall Faulk with this impressive feat of history.

"Christian McCaffrey is the 3rd player in NFL history to score 50+ TD for multiple franchises, joining Hall-of-Famers Marshall Faulk (Colts, Rams) and Randy Moss (Vikings, Patriots)," ESPN Insights shared.

McCaffrey scored a touchdown in the 49ers' blowout win over the Dolphins, joining some elite company in NFL history in the process.

As a runner, he's scored 64 touchdowns in his career, recording 32 with the 49ers and 32 with the Panthers. As a receiver, he's scored 36 touchdowns, 12 with the 49ers and 12 with the Panthers.

While Moss did all of his work through the air with the Patriots and Vikings, Faulk was productive in the rushing and passing game.

He ran for 58 touchdowns with the Los Angeles Rams and 42 with the Indianapolis Colts. As a receiver, he caught 27 touchdowns with the Rams and nine with the Colts.

McCaffrey is one of the best dual-threat running backs in NFL history, and this rare accomplishment proves just how incredible he's been with both the Panthers and 49ers during his career.

Only two other players have scored 50-plus touchdowns for different teams in their NFL careers, and CMC perfectly split his TD total between the two teams, with his 100th career TD also being the one that got him into this rare NFL history.
