John Cena has already announced his retirement from WWE, which will happen on December 13th at Saturday Night's Main Event, but it seems that there are numerous other stars following suit.
AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio are expected to retire in the coming year, but RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has recently answered a fan question claiming that he has been retired since 2012 and he made that decision without any medical input.
Adam Pearce has teased that he could return to the ring several times throughout his run as General Manager on both SmackDown or RAW, but he ended his Instagram video by noting that he hoped that he wouldn't wrestle again, but it wasn't a certainty.
Pearce has been a coach and trainer for WWE as well as a GM for the past decade, and it seems that he is happy to be on this side of the ropes.
Will Adam Pearce vs Nick Aldis ever happen in WWE?
Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis have been teasing a match with their rivalry between RAW and SmackDown over the past few years, but it seems that this story may have never been heading towards something physical.
While Adam Pearce has reiterated that he is retired, there is a chance that Nick Aldis could opt to return to the ring, since he is in a storyline with Drew McIntyre at present, which appears to be getting very personal.
With McIntyre's recent ignorance to the fact that he was suspended and the fact that he is now at WarGames, it could be something that Aldis has taken personal which could either lead to a physical showdown between the two men or see Aldis send him over to RAW instead.
More could become clear tonight on WWE SmackDown if McIntyre makes an appearance.
