Adopt Me Active Needs update patch notes

Adopt Me is a role-playing and avatar simulation game on Roblox in which you unlock different Pets and help them grow by taking good care of them. By completing their minigames and tasks, you can earn Bucks, which can be used to adopt more Pets.

On November 21, 2025, Adopt Me launched the Active Needs update, which introduced a new Pet Pen activity and two new minigames. Along with several quality-of-life changes, the update also added a new Pet Pen Slot. This guide will outline everything new in this update.

The Active Needs update was introduced on November 21, 2025, and added these new features:

New Pet Pen activity

Click on the box of toys placed inside the Pet Pen on the left side of the entrance to start this new minigame. Your goal is to tap on toys and Bucks to earn XP and cash for your Pets and swipe the poo away into the trash. The higher the streak you can maintain, the more XP it will grant to your Pets to evolve them faster.

Firefly Camp

Whenever this event is active, you can travel towards the campsite and speak to Burt to claim a Firefly Jar. After equipping this jar, you can catch fireflies that spawn across the campsite. Your Pets will earn Bucks and XP for each firefly you catch during this event.

Beach Time Trials

A new race event has been added at the Beach, accessible by hopping onto the Water Scooter or Jet Ski located on the left side of the dock. You can use these vehicles to drive around the coast and collect checkpoints to complete the race. Steering is easy, and upon finishing the race, you'll receive 10 Bucks as a reward.

New Pet Pen Slot

The latest update added another Pet Pen Slot, which means you can now place up to five Pets in total in a Pet Pen. You can purchase this slot for 295 Robux.

Bug fixes

• The New Parent task now completes when hatching an egg from your Pet Pen.
• The Rags to Riches task now correctly stops counting up when you reach 200/200.
• Buying and selling furniture no longer contributes to Rags to Riches.
• Fixed an issue where, when exiting a vehicle, the ride prompt could disappear and require you to respawn it to get back in.
