WWE is all set to entertain fans with its programs in 2026. Under the creative leadership of Triple H, the Stamford-based promotion has been scaling new heights with each passing week.

Superstars on the roster are already making resolutions to make their 2026 even more impactful. However, some stars have unfortunately injured themselves. In this article, we will take a look at four superstars who recently got injured.

#4. JD McDonagh

This past year was tough for The Judgment Day member JD McDonagh. He initially sustained a rib injury and was out for months before returning to RAW after WrestleMania 41. In December, he suffered a wrist injury.

The Irish superstar took to his official Instagram handle and posted a picture of himself from a hospital bed. In the caption, he informed fans about his current status and assured them he wouldn't be out of action for a long time.

"Been working thru some stuff for the last few months, but now is the time to pump the breaks and get put back together. Won't be long, BRB."

#3. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio had an amazing 2025, and he was all set to start his 2026 even more spectacularly. However, while doing his double champion duty, "Dirty" Dom got hurt. He teamed up with El Grande Americano to wrestle a tag team match against his father, Rey Mysterio, and Rey Fenix at AAA's Guerra de Titanes.

At the end of the tag team bout, Dominik suffered a shoulder injury. He has been out for a while, and his absence has landed the company in trouble as The King of Luchadors is the WWE Intercontinental Champion and the AAA Mega Champion.

#2. Michin

Michin was seemingly getting a push recently as she was embroiled in a feud with WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill. She competed against Big Jade at a live event on December 27 in Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately, the former Mia Yim reportedly sustained a shoulder injury and had to be replaced for the remainder of the holiday tour.

#1. Sheamus

Sheamus is one of the most popular legends featured on Monday Night RAW. The 47-year-old superstar was a participant in The Last Time is Now Tournament, but he was pulled out of the competition midway due to a legitimate shoulder injury.

The Miz replaced him and locked horns with LA Knight and lost, allowing The Megastar to qualify further. However, Gunther ended up winning the tournament and ultimately faced John Cena at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLII. It was recently reported that Sheamus has successfully undergone surgery.
